JSON Pointer Evaluator
Read a value from JSON using an RFC 6901 pointer. Supports escaped keys, URI fragments and exact numeric values.
How to use
Use /users/0/name to select the first user. Array indexes start at zero. An empty pointer selects the entire document; / selects a member whose name is the empty string.
Encode / inside a key as ~1 and ~ as ~0. For {"a/b":{"~key":true}}, /a~1b/~0key returns true. URI fragments such as #/users/0 are accepted after percent decoding.
Behavior and limits
This is JSON Pointer, not JSONPath: wildcards and filters are not supported. Duplicate object keys are rejected. Original number tokens are preserved, including integers beyond JavaScript precision.

Questions & answers
Why does /items/01 fail?
RFC 6901 array indexes do not allow leading zeroes. Use /items/1. The token - does not identify an existing element.
