Rotate & Flip Images
Rotate PNG, JPEG or WebP in 90-degree steps and flip horizontally or vertically. Choose the output format and quality.

Rotate the displayed image
Choose a PNG, JPEG or WebP. The browser decodes its display orientation, applies horizontal/vertical flips before the selected clockwise rotation, then exports the new pixels. A 90° or 270° turn swaps width and height.
PNG and WebP can retain transparency. JPEG uses a white background for transparent pixels and is lossy. Exports are re-encoded, so original EXIF, XMP and encoding details are not preserved. Animated PNG/WebP becomes the browser-decoded still frame; this is a static-image tool.
Local processing and file limits
Images are processed in your browser and are not uploaded. Limit: 40 MiB input, 10,000 pixels per side and 40 million pixels. Cancel, clear and input changes invalidate old results.
Questions & answers
Is a JPEG rotation lossless?
No. This browser tool re-encodes the decoded pixels. PNG avoids an additional lossy JPEG encoding step, though the original JPEG’s compression losses remain.
Are files uploaded to a server?
No. Files, input text and results stay in your browser. Required engines, fonts and support files load from this site.
