How to use
Set width, height or both. With aspect ratio enabled, the image fits inside the specified bounding box. Leave one dimension blank to calculate it proportionally. Upscaling is disabled by default.
For a 200 × 100 image, width 100 and a blank height produce 100 × 50. Disable aspect ratio to stretch to exact dimensions. The browser applies its image decoder’s orientation handling before drawing pixels.
Behavior and limits
Input limit: 40 MiB, 40 million pixels and 10,000 pixels per side. Re-encoding can discard EXIF and color-profile metadata. JPEG replaces transparency with white; PNG and WebP can preserve it.
Questions & answers
Does resizing improve image detail?
No. Upscaling interpolates existing pixels; it does not reconstruct missing detail.
Can I use this without uploading data?
Processing runs on your device. Input is not sent to a conversion API. Keep the page open until the result is ready.
