TSV, CSV & JSON Converter
Convert tab-separated, comma-separated and JSON tabular data locally. Preserve text values, quoted separators and multiline cells.
How to use
CSV uses commas and TSV uses tabs; both support quoted separators and quoted multiline cells. Exporting to JSON produces arrays of row arrays, with every cell represented as a string. No header row is inferred.
JSON input can be row arrays or an array of objects. Object keys become the first row in first-seen order. String values stay literal; other values become compact JSON text inside the cell, including large numeric tokens.
Behavior and limits
Going back from CSV/TSV does not recover original JSON types: 001 stays a string and null text stays text. Output quoting and line endings are normalized. Limits: 200,000 input characters, 10,000 rows and 100,000 cells.
Questions & answers
Are tabs inside a cell lost?
No. A TSV cell containing a tab is quoted and decoded as one cell.
Is my input sent to a server?
No. Processing runs in your browser and input is not submitted to an API. Original files and remote databases are not modified.
