HTML to JSX Converter

Convert HTML to a React component with mapped attributes, inline style objects, SVG names and uncontrolled form defaults.

Convert markup to a React component

Paste an HTML fragment and choose a component name. The converter returns a default-exported function wrapped in a fragment, so several root elements are supported. It maps class to className, for to htmlFor, SVG attribute names and boolean properties. Text and attribute values are encoded as string expressions, so braces in text stay literal.

Inline CSS declarations become a React style object with camelCase property names and string values; CSS custom properties keep their --prefix. Input value/checked become defaultValue/defaultChecked. Textarea contents and selected options become defaultValue. Copy the JSX into a React project with JSX compilation enabled.

What changes during conversion

HTML is parsed in an inert template; input scripts are never run and input resource URLs are not fetched. Scripts, embedded frames, stylesheet elements, event-handler attributes and unsafe URL schemes are omitted. Comments and original formatting are not preserved. This is an HTML converter, not a parser for existing JSX or a complete application migration.

Inline !important declarations are rejected because React style objects cannot represent them faithfully; move those declarations to a stylesheet. Limits: 200,000 input characters, 20,000 nodes, 64 levels and 1,000,000 output characters. Review links, styles and project-specific components before integration.

Questions & answers

Why are form values emitted as defaults?

A static HTML value normally represents an initial value. React controlled values need an onChange handler; defaults preserve editable, uncontrolled form behavior without inventing application state.

Does the page render the generated component?

No. Output is displayed as source code and can be copied or downloaded as JSX.
